PROJECT ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as lead engineer for product's mechanical manufacturing and test (such sa vibration and shock).
Responsible for the development efforts to complete manufacturing processes of spacecraft components.
Coordinate activities with engineering and manufacturing personnel as well as with component suppliers.
LOCATION: Torrance, CA
PAY RATE: up to $50/hr
DURATION: 6 month contract
BENEFITS: Holiday Pay, Referral Bonuses, Per Diem, One week bonus pay per year, 401(k) and Group Health Insurance Options
REQUIREMENTS
At least 8 years of experience in spacecraft unit development and manufacturing or related experience working knowledge of PRO E for CAD.
Knowledge of Microwave component unit manufacturing and test.
Familiarity with drafting and geometric dimensioning.
Thorough understanding of related manufacturing materials (metals, electric materials) and processes (precision machining, brazing, soldering, plating).
EDUCATION:
BS preferred in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or related field.
*US Citizen or Perm Residency required
*Previous Space Related Aerospace Experience Required
