DESCRIPTION


The Traffic Engineer will have strong practical skills with traffic impact analysis, forecasting, traffic planning, and transportation management systems. This Engineer will be responsible for the design of intersections and signals. Strong written and verbal skills are required for writing traffic impact studies and presenting information. Other responsibilities may include assisting in growing the company with marketing and management techniques.


REQUIREMENTS


BS in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
Working Knowledge of CADD, MicroStation, and InRoads
Caltrans experience a plus
Good Communication (Oral and Written)
Caltrans experience a plus
EIT necessary, PE preferred
Minimum 3 years of local experience
