Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
·Leading a team of employees to generate system level and sub-tier specifications based on customer requirements and proposal responses. The sub-tier specifications will be used for both in-house design teams and outside vendors.
·Tracking requirements from the customer specifications to all sub-tier documents (this will be accomplished using DOORS software.)
·Manage projects and assure project milestones are maintained.
·Monitor, track, and maintain schedules for projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

·4+ years experience as a program manager/project lead.
·Must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to plan projects and reprioritize tasks as needed as requirements change.
·Must be familiar with MS Project.
·Must be detail orientated and have excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and PC skills.
·Experience writing technical specifications for complex electronic systems.
·Must be able to understand technical requirements.
·BSEE or other technical degree.
·Familiarity with DOORS and avionics systems preferred.
