Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Senior Engineer position with a leadership role in a diverse Environmental Engineering company. Duties include preparation of environmental documents (remedial investigations, feasibility studies, operations and maintenance plans/reports, etc.); preparation of engineering plans, specifications and work plans; preparation of budgets; assisting Project Managers; and supervising junior staff. Engineering tasks deal with process type work, specifically groundwater pump and treat systems, in-situ chemical oxidation systems, air sparging and soil vapor extraction systems. Field work includes collection of environmental samples (soil, air, water, etc.) and oversight of subcontractors (drilling, environmental remediation, etc.)
Requirements: BS in civil/environmental or chemical engineering with at least 4-7 years directly related experience. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Registration as a Professional Engineer, HAZWOPER certification, and GIS experience a plus. Candidate should be working toward the completion of professional certification if not already available.
Job Conditions/Environment: Normal office environment, some field work
