Candidate will be asked to design and review existing electrical systems, including but not limited to high voltage distribution systems, transformers, breakers, secondary power, motors, lighting, drives, switchgear, uninterruptable power supplies and lightning protection. Candidate must have experience doing relay coordination studies, voltage drop calculations, conduit fill calculations and short circuit studies. The candidate will also work as part of our overall engineering team to conduct audits and perform electrical design of complex HVAC, electrical and building automation systems. This candidate will be required to determine cost effective solutions for infrastructure upgrades to existing mechanical/electrical systems, develop energy conscious design strategies and associated energy calculations with the skills to manage multiple high priority projects at any given time. Cogeneration experience a plus.This person will be a key asset to the engineering and sales organization and must possess strong design skills as well as strong interpersonal and presentation skills. This team member will also be responsible for producing specifications and financial evaluations of project alternatives in the commercial, institutional, healthcare, and educational facilities markets.
