Description:
A
person holding APC’s Siebel Programmer/Analyst position is responsible
for contributing to numerous Marketing, Sales, Call Center, and Field
Service Siebel application delivery projects. This person comprehends a
variety of application development concepts, practices, procedures, and
platforms.
This person must demonstrate a comprehensive
understanding of configuring and customizing Siebel 6x and 7x
applications using Siebel Tools, Workflow Manager, Assignment Manager,
and server and browser script. This person must comprehend business
processes and requirements and provide sound technical solutions.
A
well-qualified candidate will have an opportunity to quickly expand
their responsibilities to lead Siebel development projects.Responsibilities: Comprehend business processes and requirements and provide sound technical solutions Design, develop, test and implement configurations and customizations for APC’s Siebel application implementations Develop and document development standards for APC’s Siebel application implementations Comprehend new technologies and best practices in the applications development arena Skills and Qualifications BS in a technical field or equivalent experience required 2-5 years experience with all phases of the business systems development lifecycle 3 years experience with configuring and customizing Siebel eBusiness applications Experience and understanding of numerous Siebel technical components is required Understanding of the Siebel data model and enterprise RDMS skills required Demonstrated understanding of software development methodology across the complete lifecycle Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and time management skills required Good verbal and written communication skills required Basic Lead developer and project management skills preferred Experience and understanding of Siebel’s native EAI technologies, COM interfaces, or EIM a plus
