Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Programmer Analyst position has responsibility for analyzing, designing and implementing moderate to high complexity components that are release or maintenance related. The candidate will apply standard development procedures to ensure the technical, security, and quality assurance standards are met. The candidate will work under the supervision of a Lead Programmer Analyst and/or Project Leader, who will coach, mentor and guide their work based on the complexity of the assignment. The candidate will develop test plans and will participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing activities throughout the project life cycle. Job Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:Ability to communicate orally and in writing with both technical and non- technical staff. Must demonstrate solid coding and analysis skills in COBOL, DB2, CICS and MVS/JCL. Must have necessary debugging experience in TSO, FILEAID and INTERTEST. Must also have experience in ChangeMan Package Lifecycle, Creation of CM packages, Staging new components in change packages, Running audits and Freezing & Approving packages. Must possess proficeincy in MicroSoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and other MS applications. OTHER CRITERIAEmployer will not sponsor visas for position.There is no relocation available for this position.
