Job Description:
Responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, coding, testing and supporting complex database applications used in pharmacies. Prepares technical design documentation. Adheres to established development, documentation and system standards and recommends improvements as needed. Works closely with the Quality Assurance department during the testing phase of the software. Works with other teams including business analysts and product managers
REQUIREMENTS
Required Technical Skills and Experience:

Strong .Net Framework / VB.Net programming skills

Strong Microsoft SQL Server 6.5/2000 database development / TSQL programming skills

Strong user interface design skills

Experience developing for Windows Server 2003 and XP

4+ years application development experience

Preferred Experience:

PowerBuilder 9.0+ background
Experience developing applications for external customers
Experience developing database applications in client/server environment
Experience with source control tools PVCS / Version Manager
Prior healthcare industry experience a plus
