Program Manager II

SUMMARY:



Manages proposal activities for Rapiscan Systems and its affiliates (RS-NAT and RS-HEIC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage cross-functional project teams across the organization to ensure that customer requirements are understood and met.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work as well as resolving problems.
Some travel (10 to 20%) may be required.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Requires a four-year college degree and 6 to 9 years of program/project management experience.
Understanding of government proposal process and government contract requirements is highly desirable.
Strong project management skills, the ability to analyze and address complex issues, attention to detail and excellent writing skills are essential for this position.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
