Program Manager/AfterMarket
Responsible for the management of specific programs from an aftermarket perspective.

Leading/Managing/Participating in a cross functional team (Integrated Project Team) that is responsible for the activities associated with New Product Introduction, Service readiness Planning, and On Going Support Processes/Activities.
Delivery of a successful Entry into Service of Company’s equipment on specified platforms creating , and coordinating project documentation such as project plans, risk registers, fit lists, program reports and presentations.
Responsible for the new product introduction process for those products into Customer Service. This may include the implementation of a gate review process within Customer Service and interface with the OE to ensure:

Compliance to Product Support Agreements
Repairs Readiness & Support
Spares Readiness & Support
Technical Readiness & Support
Management of key sub-contractors
Contractual obligations in place with sub-contractors and/or suppliers

Having on going responsibility for the aftermarket element of the total product life cycle once the aircraft goes into service.

Will include following activities:
Monitoring & seeking proactive solutions for problems arising during the warranty period – objective being to reduce wherever possible spend against warranty fund
Monitoring and seeking proactive improvements to the reliability performance of the equipment in service.
Identifying, implementing and planning additional opportunities for service offerings, service improvements, and increased sales of the given platform.
Participate in the management of the Company/Customer relationship to improve customer rapport, and supplier standing.

All the above tasks will require close co-operation with Customer Service & OE functions including engineering, operations, Customer Management, Business Development & finance.

Experience
5+ years in the aerospace industry
Customer Service Experience is preferred
Preferred a strong engineering background with experience working with air framers and end users
Good commercial capability/awareness
Good financial capability/awareness
Experience in Project Management/Team Management
Ability to multi – task with different functions (teams & Customer)

Skills & Competencies
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, performance targets, and project management
Strong inter-personal skills enabling the individual to manage in a matrix and “virtual team”.
Familiar with the use of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to retain customer focus & set key priorities
Ability to make decision in timely fashion.
