Program Developer

Position Objective: To ensure quality services to persons in the
Developmental Training and Aspire Industries programs by creating activities that keep participants challenged, engaged and learning new skills. Assist Center Based Administrators and Instructors in ensuring that staff can demonstrate confidence in the ability to engage participants and provide learning opportunities for them.

Position Duties:
A. Develops or acquires activities for each emphasis area for Center Based Programs.
B. Identifies/purchases materials and equipment needed to implement activities.
C. Identifies daily plans for all emphasis areas with the help of Instructors.
D. Trains Instructors and Trainers on daily plans to ensure they are implemented.
E. Provides daily quality assurance to determine that active treatment is accomplished in each emphasis area.
F. Identifies community resources in order to move activities/programming into the community.
G. Develops partnerships that will expand options for the offered programs (Garden Clubs, Art Students, Volunteers, Interns, Musicians, Beauty Schools, Therapist, etc).
H. Supervises volunteers and interns on a daily basis.
I. Coordinates staff interaction with Infinitec coalition.
J. Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in related field and 1 year of directly related experience. Illinois Drivers License in good standing.
