Program Control Specialist

ProLogic, Incorporated is seeking a well-qualified candidate for a Program Control Specialist position for our Manassas, Virginia office. This is an entry to mid-level position. This position is intended as the introduction to a Program Management career path within the company.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting in managing multiple budgets for multiple programs totaling over $18 million.
Tracking program work schedules and financials; analyzing and reporting of program progress; estimating and analyzing cost; generating reports and providing information on program spending, ETC and EAC.
Reviewing program invoices and financial system reports for accuracy.
Creating and maintaining and proofreading various financial reports for submission to the government. Monitoring contract deliverable deadlines to help ensure contractual obligations are met.
Producing Group financial reports, summarizing and forecasting for Vice President/General Manager.
Participating in design reviews and program status reviews.
Creating and maintaining monthly charge plans for division employees.
Recording meeting minutes for various government program meetings including Program Management Reviews, Program Design Reviews and Technical Design Reviews.
Assisting with compilation of data for Basis of Estimate (BOE) for program bid efforts. Assisting with proposal development.
Assisting Program Managers to prepare for their quarterly Program Management Reviews.
Managing Group’s resource allocation tracking.
Collecting and maintaining Group Business & Development Efforts matrix.
Recruitment searches, as needed, on recruiting websites. Managing recruiting process for Group in these instances.
Searching for Group business opportunities on INPUT website.

Special Requirements for Systems Administrator:
-US Citizenship is required
-Applicant will be subject to background security investigation

REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Department of Defense contracts a plus.
Experience with Dekkar Trakker software and Earned Value Management a plus.
Exposure to MS Project a plus.
Experience with Deltek financial system a plus.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills Required:
•1 to 2 years extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite
•Minimal travel required (5%)

Minimum Education Required:
•Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
•1 to 2 years of relevant experience
•Previous Department of Defense experience
