Program Assistant

No.: 06EVIS993The Primary Duties and Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Candidate will perform as a program assistant for the Navy's lead for Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A). Candidate will plan/host meetings and events and prepare minutes and agendas. A great deal of customer contact is to be expected during meeting planning and at the actual meetings. Some technical writing will be required in the software testing and Modeling & Simulation areas. Frequent travel, of up to a week at a time, may be required.QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:BS in Computer Science or other technical area with at least two years successful customer contact experience. Must have meeting/event organizer experience. Skilled with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of software development, test and Modeling & Simulation a plus.Candidate must be able to prepare and give presentations to large groups. Candidate should be techncally knowledgeable with a proven ability to learn quickly.Candidates must either currently hold or be able to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
