Summary


The Applications Engineer will be responsible for resolving product inquiries from customers, manufacturers’ reps, and distributors for technical inquiries, methods, and applications

The successful applicant will also provide technical product support for customers

The Applications Engineer finds solutions to customer problems by using existing company products and technology or by applying, modifying, or designing current products and technology to fit the needs of a client

The Applications Engineer may also recommend a new product as a solution to a client needsResponsibilities


Plans, designs, and develops application solutions to solve customer requirements

Responsible for pre-sale and post-sale support to customers, including equipment demonstrations

Provides product-training seminars for customers and sales representatives and participates in trade shows and seminars

Remain current on industry activities to maintain a competitive edge
REQUIREMENTS


Required Skills


US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required

BS in related area or equivalent

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design, product, or application engineering

Proficient at typing and using Microsoft Office Software

Preferred Skills


Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to deal with difficult and ambiguous situations
