THIS FORTUNE 500 FOOD MANUFACTURING COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR TO HANDLE PROCESSING AND PACKAGING. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A FOUR YEAR DEGREE AND 2-5 YEARS OF FOOD MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORY BACKGROUND

To serve as a resource and a leader for production team members, focusing on creating an environment whereby each team member can achieve the goals set forth in Total Productive Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, resulting in the highest customer/consumer value.

Overall responsibility to coordinate the daily activities of the Department. This includes production, quality, materials, safety, cost and motivation. Provides direction, coaching and career development of employees. Overall sanitation responsibilities for the Department.
Ensure quality, environmental and safety compliance programs are being met. Support new materials and product testing demands as requested Ensure SOPs are current and are being followed for activities within the Department.

Minimum Job Requirements:
College graduate with minimum 4 years degree and a minimum of 2-3 years related experience in high speed packaging operations.
Capable of leading, directing, and motivating team members as required to achieve the required business results.
Effective written and oral communications.
Effective motivator who can engage employees at all levels.
Self starter with the ability to develop strategies in line with an overall business vision including appropriate linkages to support functions.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to develop presentations which communicate the appropriate messages at all levels of the organization.
Possess technical competence in understanding manufacturing processes and the compliance requirements of a food manufacturer.
