Production Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a major player in the mining industry, is in need of a Production Maintenance Engineer. You will be filling in for the supervisors for both maintenance and production departments when necessary. You will be responsible for completing production related projects. They include time studies, ventilation checks and enhancement, production equipment modification and purchase, operational studies and modifications.

You will be completing maintenance related projects such as mining equipment modifications and purchasing, raw and finished product conveyance. You will provide administrative assistance regarding MSHA and other legal demands.

You will provide engineering service for the health and safety department. You will also oversee underground and surface surveys.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors in Mechanical or Engineering Degree
3-8 years of underground experience. Underground salt maining experience is preferred.
MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD ability.
