Production Engineer

Responsible for wave solder and hand soldering operations, including creating wave solder programs, implementing new processes and maintenance and repair of equipment.
Supporting production personnel on rejects and day to day issues.
Work with Production Engineers and production personnel on implementing new processes and continuous improvement.
Prepare quotes for circuit card assembly area.
Create and update documentation (APPs, routings, time standards).
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years experience as a manufacturing engineer, preferably in an electronic assembly environment.
Must be familiar with through hole technology and wave solder machines.
Knowledge of CAD and familiarity with IPC specs preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and PC skills.
Bachelor of Science Degree Desired
BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
