Production Cad Operator

Purpose: Aerotek is currently in the need for a CAD Drafter to work in Putnam County area.

Position Title: Production Cad Operator (intermediate / Jr. Arch)

Position Description:
This is a 7 person firm that has the need for 2 additional production people in the firm due to an increase in work.

They are currently working on 2 large church projects. One is an $8 million Baptist Church that is in the Construction Document phase, and the other is a $12 million Catholic Church that finished planning and is in the Design Document stage. They are also working on a historic restoration for a large municipality, a few custom homes, and a Mercedes Benz dealership.

As you can tell, their projects are diverse, so the ideal candidate would have experience with all different building types (i.e. concrete, steel, wood, etc)

The person needs to be able to take a project and run with it since it's a smaller firm.

They would like a candidate with 3-5 years experience

They use Autocad Architectural Desktop (ADT) 2000, but mainly Revit. 100% of the design is in Revit. They would prefer Revit experience, but are willing to bring someone on board with ADT, and would train them on Revit.

The best candidate would most likely come from a smaller firm as well.

The hours are 8:30 - 5:00.

They prefer a candidate with a degree 5-7 years experience without a degree.
