Product Specialist/Application Engineer Lab Exhaust Systems

General Summary:

Assists Laboratory Exhaust Systems manager group primarily in customer support and also will assist with customer seminars and other projects as assigned.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Productivity:

85% Customer Application Support (technically support lab exhaust systems request from Inside Sales Manager, Director, or direct customer calls on products, applications and special design requests). Assist with preparation of submittals for standard and special lab exhaust systems.

15% Special Projects related to improving customer service and business

Growth Objectives

To be recognized by internal and external customers as an industry expert in laboratory exhaust systems.

To support GFC Lab exhaust systems to internal sales and marketing staff.

Give presentations to customers (at GFC and in the field) on lab exhaust systems. Travel after first year, 10-15% (open).

5% Evaluates components for quality, reliability and performance and advise engineering and purchasing as to those components which might enhance the product.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree in Engineering or other technical degree
2-4 years of experience in engineering, sales or marketing
Must be able to read and understand mechanical project bid documents
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self starter, who can prioritize tasks
Must possess a strong sense of ownership for Greenheck and its products.
