Product/Controls Engineer

Manager production equipment projects to support manufacturing process. Position would vary from working with existing equipment modifications to new equipment procurement and startup. Modifications could encompass mechanical hardware and electrical controls including PLC/PC software.

Analyze alternatives and recommend/implement solutions to known equipment problems. Develop and implement projects that improve equipment productivity. Modify PC and PLC hardware and software to achieve various objectives. Support equipment side of process engineering efforts or projects. Support equipment reliability improvement efforts with maintenance group.
REQUIREMENTS
This company is looking for an engineer with hands on experience in working with PC and PLC hardware. We're looking for hard skills vs. soft skills. Someone who has done projects regarding installation and maintenance/upgrade of PC's and PLC's in regard to machine controls.

The opportunity for advancement to next level within the next two years is open for the right individual.

Four degree in BSEE or BSME.
Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with machine controls.
Project engineering experience including electrical and mechanical design.
PLC and PC knowledge, CNC experience.
