Process and Design Engineer

Objective: To manage the product development, design, and process functions in all ALC business units

-Monitor and track quality and reject percentages. Determine root cause and corrective actions. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
-Develop and implement operating procedures and work instructions for new and existing products conforming to ISO requirements.
-Mistake proof new and existing products and processes
-Identify cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities.
-Work as part of new product development team
-Manage new product development and implementation programs
-Ensure design for manufacturability on all new products
-Review new products prior to implementation for manufacturability and BOMs
-Manage and recommend mold and tooling designs for new and existing products
-Determine best materials to produce new productsJob Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years manufacturing engineering experience
ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
computer literate
Fluent verbally and in writing in English
CAD

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
The ability to work in a higher noise level facility
