Process Engineer/Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for both supervising the Seneca Operations' electrodeposition coating process (E-Coat Paint Line) and developing, implementing and maintaining the company's environmental programs to assure the site meets and/or exceeds established environmental objectives and the requirements of federal, state and local regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Supervise the entire E-Coat Paint System:a. Supervise electrodeposition coating process & paint line operatorsb. Responsible for all processes from loading to unloading parts
2. Responsible for the Paint Line QA Process and serve as contact person for all corporate support related to painting operations.
3. Responsible for all Environmental Engineering activities that include, but not limited to, the following:a. Develop and communicate environmental programs consistent with regulations and company policy, including continued administration of the company's ISO 14001:2004 programs.b. Train associates, supervisors and other employees in the areas of environmental awareness, specific program requirements and job-specific requirements.c. Conduct audits and inspections of the location to ensure company objectives and regulatory requirements are met.d. Acts as the location liaison with the regulatory agencies and the community.e. Review contractor and TSDF qualifications.f. Develop programs and practices for managing the plant's hazardous materials and wastes to meet regulatory guidelines and company standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:A BS in an engineering or technical field with a minimum of 3 years environmental experience and supervisory experience desired. Candidates must have an extensive knowledge of the following: Experience in manufacturing operations with exposure to an electrodeposition process. Working knowledge and experience in EPA Programs including the following:
