Process Engineer - Injection Molding

Purpose: A manufacturer of rings and seals for the aerospace and military market is seeking a Process Engineer with injection molding background. This Process Engineer will sustain and improve existing processes as well as develop processes for new products. Study and propose productivity, quality and process improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Support kaizen/continuous improvements activities

*Support manufacturing engineering to evaluate mold designs

*Understand and implement Six Sigma and SPC concepts

*Research alternative production methods and equipment

*Audit and implement improvements for process control

REQUIREMENTS:

*Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field and 3-5 years experience of related planning/purchasing experience.

*Injection molding experience.

*Excellent troubleshooting skills

*Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and new priorities in a timely manner

*Able to work in a fast paced production environment to meet monthly delivery commitments

Compensation:
$55,000-58,000 Year
