Process Engineer ) Design Engineer

Duties:


Reviews customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and
industry standards to determine scope of project.
Generate BOMs, production orders, procedures, and all necessary
data-entry information in the MIS System (BaaN) for procurement,
manufacturing, testing, outside processes, and packaging & shipping.
Works closely with customers, vendors, and all Company departments
to resolve technical and quality problems.
Interprets assembly, hydraulic, and electrical schematics and
detail drawings.
Prepares cost estimates for manufacture of project deliverable.
Essential Duties:


Performs various analysis, design and/or assembly related to
product design, manufacturing or engineering projects.
Defines, interprets and develops procedures and production orders
for receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with Company
and contractual requirements.
Investigates and analyzes unique or highly technical manufacturing
and customer issues providing technical assistance in establishing
procedures and methods.
Performs technical surveillance of a complex nature in the control
of product, design concepts, software and specification requirements.
Provides leadership in the area of producibility, manufacturing
processing, equipment & process improvement, quality engineering, software
quality, software configuration management, and procurement quality
engineering.
Applies analytical, evaluative, and constructive expertise to
design engineering projects by the critical deadlines assigned.
Prioritizes / completes design-engineering projects to maximize
production and cost effectiveness.
Designs new equipment parts and assemblies as conceived to support
the needs of Manufacturing and Engineering.
Prepares Bill of Materials, Production Orders, process procedures
and inspection plans for complex electromechanical assemblies.


Additional Responsibilities:


Performs a variety of specific professional non-complex engineering
tasks of an analysis, design or test nature.
Participates on project teams as required and receives close
guidance and instruction from more experienced engineers and/or supervisor
when working in more complex areas.
Engineering activities support both domestic and international
products / services. Job Requirements

Five (5) years related experience in manufacturing and/or design
environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering,
electrical engineering, computer science.
Familiarity with MRP systems for manufacturing.
Computer literate: MS-Office professional and Project or other
equal software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated self-starter with strong organizational and
interpersonal skills.
