Process Engineer
Process Engineer Job - Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Chemical Process Engineer with 5+ years of experience working in an oil refinery. You need a BS degree in Chemical Engineering. You will be responsible for all phases of process engineering, under the direction of the Chief Process Engineer. You will be responsible for the following: (1) preparing process engineering studies & calculations, (2) preparing cost estimates & economic studies, (3) maintaining continuous surveillance of operating conditions throughout the refinery, (4) recommending changes & improvements in refinery operations, (5) optimizing daily operations of units, (6) managing your assigned portion of the annual refinery budget, (7) & support capital projects by ensuring the contractor complies with design specifications. You will work with the Environmental Engineer on pending projects, methods to prevent future problems, and alleviating existing problems. You will also work with the Chief Process Engineer, Process Supervisors, and Shift Foreman in developing training programs for the operating personnel.
