This opportunity is critical to the performance and continued growth of
the Riegelwood, NC manufacturing facility. Riegelwood is located 20
miles from the coastal community Wilmington.As a leader within International Paper, an individual must have
demonstrated experience at being accountable for and holding others
accountable for working safely while providing appropriate resources to
ensure the incident-free operations of the plant. In addition, the
successful candidate will be responsible to lead the capital program and
manufacturing excellence initiatives for the Power and Recovery areas.
This includes coordination of complex and multi-disciplined engineering
projects from process development, through design and implementation, to
insuring project results are met. In addition to capital project work,
expectations include leading the manufacturing excellence initiative in
the Power and Recovery areas. This requires solving complex operational
issues in the areas of quality, cost, efficiency and reliability.College level degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
Requires over 8 years of related experience in the engineering field.Excellent oral and written communication skills
