Principle Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Designs and administers Oracle 10g databases.
Creates stored procedures, triggers, and views.
Analyzes customer requirements to derive the logical data model for CIPS 3.x.
Creates the physical data model for CIPS 3.x.
Provides DBA support for CIPS 3.x.
Assists in the design and implementation of data access layer components.
Participates in application design process to ensure efficient interfaces between application and data layers.
Develops and enforces database standards.
Investigates and assists other team members in interfacing .NET and J2EE components to the database.Background and Experience: (including education, skills, work activities)(a) Minimum required:
BS in Computer Science or related field.
Four years experience in an Oracle DBA role
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Familiarity with Oracle 9i or later.(b) Desired:
Familiarity with C# .NET, Java, Web Services.
SECRET Clearance.
Four or more years of experience developing web-based applications.
Exposure to/familiarity with Infragistics, ReSharper, and CodeSmith Pro.
Familiarity with LogiXML Info reporting tool.
Knowledge of UML.
