Principle Engineer Manufacturing Development

Function/Program: ManufacturingResponsibilities: Developing and training new talent in all aspects of gear manufacturing. Taking the leadership role on gear development programs. Trouble-shooting gear manufacturing problems.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Engineering or related field or a BA in Business Management or related.Position Requirements: 15 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering & Tooling of spiral bevel gears, helical gears, spur gears, and splined shafts. Working knowledge of gear manufacturing methods, gear tolerances, material applications, processes, and inspection methods. Comfortable speaking to and directing others. Must have good communication skills (oral and written) and working knowledge of PC applications such as Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
Preferred: Along with the required, 10+ years setting-up and running gear manufacturing equipment such as shapers, hobbers, gear grinders, spiral bevel generators and grinders, gear hones, broaches.Textron is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V)
