Principal/Senior Software Engineer (SIP Signaling)

Our product offerings fully replaces the functionality of traditional Private Branch Exchanges (PBX) and Key Telephone Systems (KTS). Voxpath Networks was founded specifically to address the needs of small and medium-sized businesses in the rapidly changing, data-centric communications world.Make the most of your degree and substantial SIP experience by helping us to develop software for SIP signaling applications. Working in a cross-functional team environment, you’ll participate in all phases of development from gathering requirements through design, implementation and testing; help review design and coding; troubleshoot problems, using SIP protocol analyzer/test tools; and support SIP applications.
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, we require:-BSEE or BSCS, plus at least 7 years’ software design and implementation experience and 3 years’ SIP application development
-Use of SIP protocol analyzer, concurrency and multi-threaded programming, multi-tiered, distributed applications development, and the use of Oracle/other RDBMS
-A thorough understanding of SIP/VolP protocol standards and excellent C++ implementation/programming skills are essential
-Top problem-solving, OO analysis and design skills
-Knowledge of pattern-oriented software architecture/UMI, a good understanding of UNIX operating system
-Solid communication skills; and the ability to thrive in a team environment
-Development experience with DIP protocol stacks, call-processing and network-management application development experience, experience with real-time operating systems, and knowledge of SS7 signaling protocols preferred
