Ideal candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, plus ten (10) or more years of related experience. Project management certification preferred. Us Citizenship required.Skills needed:
Must have demonstrated industry experience successfully developing and executing project plans and leading teams in the full product life cycle related to the development or acquisition of pneumatic systems for aerospace applications.Duties Specific to the Position:
Leads activities of multi-discipline product development teams with respect to technical, cost, and schedule performance. Coordinates with Operations Project manager, Subcontracts, Program Schedulers, and Production Schedulers to develop delivery schedule and supplier management requirements for each product. Establishes project baseline with common hardware planning and coordinates changes with Programs and Project managers. Acts as cost account manager for WIP accounts, participates in monthly common hardware cost account reviews, and develops and implements corrective actions as required. Responsible for Statements of Word (SOW), product specifications, and drawings. Performs technical analyses to demonstrate compliance with internal and external requirements. Resolves hardware discrepancies, including containment, root cause determination, and corrective action. participates in and prepares presentations for management and program status meetings and reviews (e.g. Change Control Board, Flight Review Board, Management Reviews, etc.). Works with suppliers and Programs to identify problem areas and implement solutions. Manages performance metrics relative to each product and supplier. Responsible for hardware pedigree reviews and flight readiness memoranda. Other duties as assigned.EOE/M/F/D/V
REQUIREMENTS
BS or equivalent experience and seven years of related experience is required.
