Principal Engineer

Role:
Principal Engineer in the New Product Commercialization Engineering Group (Worldwide Process Technology and Commercialization)

Job Accountabilities:
- Actively manage new product and process commercialization initiatives to deliver company's Innovation Strategy

- Cross-Functional Project Leadership

- Engineering Expertise (Bench to Field)

- Planning & Communication Skills.

- Develop and Transfer new product / process training and documentation to manufacturing facilities.

- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in support of new Product and Process Development and Quality Work Plans

- Develop deep understanding of strategic products, processes and ingredients to support development of new operating platforms, and contribute to trouble shooting and problem solving

- Initiate and perform economic and technical feasibility studies on new product and/or process concepts delivered through ideation

- Apply CQV process to new equipment installations for product and process rollout or technology development

- Provide auditing services to field (Concentrate, Bottling, Co-Packer)

- Technical Support for Field Issue Resolution

- Strong project management and leadership skills

REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Engineering with 8 plus years experience in related consumer goods field.

- Master in Business or Engineering a plus.

Desired:
- Experience with Dairy or Soy based beverage formulations

- Experience with concentrate and bottling manufacturing /operations and Contract Manufacturing

- Experience with Retort and/or Aseptic Process Engineering, Development and Commercialization

- Packaging Experience a plus

Other Job Requirements:
- This position will require flexibility in working hours to set-up and complete research experiments, field trials, audits or equipment startups that may extend past typical working hours.

- Domestic and International Travel will be required, total travel estimated at 20-25%.
