Plumbing/HVAC Designer

Purpose: Prepares drawings of plumbing and / or HVAC system design drawings of moderate complexity based on verbal instructions, sketches, and/or formal documents.

Duties Include:
1. Preparation of floor plans, site plans, equipment and component design drawings and other drawings for construction and remodel projects using CAD Software.
2. Utilizes AutoCAD 2000/2000i and Architectural Desktop 2004 equipment and maintains current knowledge of CAD technology principles and applications.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Certificate of Competency in Architectural Drafting preferred.

Skills:
- Ability to prepare floor, site, and other architectural plans using CAD drafting techniques.
- Skill in the use of CAD equipment and software.
- Knowledge of architectural plan documents and specifications.
- Certificate of Competency in Architectural Drafting preferred

Classification:
Direct Hire

Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 Year
