Plant/Process Engineer

Purpose: A client located in east Baltimore is seeking a Plant/Process Engineer. The candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. The Plant Engineer is responsible for the safety, direction, and management of the Grinding Facility. The candidate must be a capable leader who is willing to follow. The comprehension and understanding with all Environmental health and Safety Policies is important. The improvement in performance and results of the plant is a big portion of the responsibility. The candidate must also be capable of analyzing facility requirements so that effective planning and scheduling can be accomplished in a cost effective and timely manner.

Other responsibilities include:

- Organize and complete mill grinding and equipment audits in autonomy.
-Identify deviations in mill operations, implement corrective actions.
-Design, supervise and participate on grinding experimentation.
-Interface with vendors, contractors, and engineering firms.
-Develop process and manufacturing improvement proposals.
-Competence in Maximo, Excel, and MS Project.
