Plant Operations Manager - Richmond, VA

ARAMARK Healthcare is seeking a Plant Operations Manager for a healthcare facility in Richmond, VA. Reporting to the POM Director, as an Plant Operations Manager you will oversee the manufacturing, maintenance and quality areas for the entire healthcare campus. Your responsibilities will be focused on, but not limited to improving organizational capabilities, optimizing processes, building teams and management development, meeting budgets and improving standards of performance, quality and safety. The Manager will manage, direct, monitor and support the plant operations maintenance department and their programs to provide a safe, attractive, and functional hospital environment.

Job Requirements


Ideal candidates will possess the following:



3 - 5 years experience in an acute care hospital plant operations environment with an emphasis on building maintenance and repair and familiarity with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and plant operations software applications. Possesses the ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and the leadership skills to lead a diverse workforce with varying abilities and skills. Can recognize what needs to be done and has the initiative to get it done. Familiarity with JCAHO requirements and NFPA guidelines is desirable. Experienced in establishing scopes of work for maintenance, repair and service contracts; reviewing contractor proposals; coordinating the work; and bringing projects to a successful conclusion on time and on budget.
