(Piping) Principal Design Engineer

Must have a thorough knowledge of the various ASME Piping Codes (B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8);
Must have thorough knowledge of related industry standards. (API, NEMA, etc…)
Must be capable of solving unusual engineering problems related to piping flexibility & developing economical & safe solutions.
Must have adequate experience performing piping flexibility calculations to check other engineers work.
Must have sufficient practical field experience & communication skills to be a consultant to Fluor’s clients in solving field problems relating to piping flexibility & support; perform field punch out on contracts where the stress engineer is required to assist construction efforts & be willing to travel.
Must be able to serve as a lead stress engineer on various contracts and capable of estimating & organizing work & scheduling resources to complete the work on schedule.
Previous Fluor Experience a plus

REQUIREMENTS
BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Professional Registration preferred
Minimum 16 years of qualified experience
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
