Photo Process Engineer

The Photo Process Engineer is responsible for sustaining existing photolithography processes and developing new processes for fabrication of high brightness LEDs .

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the FAB, Equipment Maintenance to sustain and improve existing photo processes.
• Work with the Engineering and Technology groups to introduce new processes that are consistent with high volume and high yield manufacturing.
• Develop criteria and metrics for new process introduction.
• Identify critical process parameters, initiate and sustain statistical process control
• Work closely with Engineering Group to conduct process FMEAs for critical processes
• Reports to the Manager of FAB Engineering



REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification Required: (when qualifications include education or equivalent, define equivalent)
• Knowledge of photolithographic processes in a development environment. This would include hands on operating experience, resist selection, resist optimization, and resist-process interactions.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience with a BS or MS degree
• Proven ability to address lithography issues and improve yield.
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to effectively work within in team environment.
• Demonstrated track record of improving yields.

Additional Desired Qualification/Experience:
• Experience with taking a process from a prototype environment into production
• Experience with resists for liftoff applications
• Experience with compound semiconductors
• Experience with mask design and layout
