Pharmaceutical Engineer

Pharmaceutical Engineer needed for a 6-month contract. Job description is as follows:This person be responsible for:
1. Resolution of pharmaceutical equipment and utility related issues
2. Equipment change controls, problem solving and service
3. Scheduling of GMP equipment and supporting systems shutdown and PM
4. Filing and tracking of ongoing maintenance and contractor workCoordinate equipment/system maintenance, change control and servicing. Close collaboration with facilities department with respect to utility shutdown and site GMP building maintenance. Support the operation of pharmaceutical equipment/systems.Skills: Excel, MS Word.PLC and pneumatic controls. Building Automation and Environmental monitoring systems. Equipment qualification. Effective in communicating with peers and management. In knowledge of facility and equipment GMP regulations. In knowledge of engineering, facility/equipment operation, maintenance and qualification requirements.Education: Engineering or similar 4 yr. degree with 3-4 years experience in pharmaceutical equipment and utilities, system qualification and trouble shooting. Knowledge of basic pharmaceutical solid dosage equipment, CAD and HVAC systems.
