PeopleSoft Systems Analyst
job description System analyst position within Sprint-Nextel’s Finance Information Services (FIS) group supporting the HR & Payroll systems team. Responsibilities will include system analysis and project management for major upgrade, implementation, and integration projects supporting the business. Additional responsibilities include: Liaison with business sponsors/customers to strategize and identify logical business needs; Lead process improvement discussions with business customers to identify where technology/system processes can enable process improvement and standardization; Work with IT Domain experts to consolidate impacts and schedules; Prepare and manage project plan; Track development activities; Coordinate regular meetings and communications with impacted groups; Communicate project status to project team, IT teams, business sponsors, and core senior management; and identify and track challenges/issues and mitigate risks
job requirements Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of systems development lifecycle (SDLC); Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll; project management experience within the systems domain; and familiarity with Telco/Wireless industry and projects.Minimum QualificationsExceptional communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer-supplier relationships; 4 year degree required; PeopleSoft experience, project management experience; graduate degree (MS, MBA, MA) preferred; Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project; Demonstrated ability to manage medium-large projects.
