PURS DATA SPECIALIST– SPEND TRACKING (Items)

The PURS Data Specialist will serve as a key contributor for manufacturer item matching, detailed product information accuracy, categorization and data integrity. The PURS Data Specialist will assist in ensuring the PURS processing is completed timely and accurately while maintaining data integrity within the system.



Responsibilities

· Perform the item matching, categorization, and detailed product information tasks as assigned

· Interact with distributors/manufacturers as instructed to accurately analyze and match data

· Research distributors/manufacturers as requested to establish new brands and items

· Eliminate existing duplicate references to the same item

· Partner with the Data Analyst to support Avendra Contract Managers and Audit regarding distributor/manufacturer data and categorization

· Perform research and work on special projects, as requested

· Manage and respond to requests in an accurate and timely manner
REQUIREMENTS
Role Requirements

· Experience in Procurement a plus

· Strong PC skills in the areas of database and spreadsheet-based

applications (MS Excel, MS Access)

· Strong organizational skills

· Demonstrated analytical skills

· Ability to read and speak French a plus
