PSM Specialist

Coordinate the PSM efforts for a two-site region with four distinct process operations.
Responsible for overseeing and providing unit specific training programs and coordinating unit PSM activities to comply with all plant, corporate and government related policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintains a safe environment for each site through the implementation of state of the art PSM management systems, PSM programs, and PSM regulatory compliance oversite actions.
Using PSM experience provide support for the safe execution of special projects such as major maintenance activities, implementation of capital projects, and operating changes.





JOB REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Engineering or Safety Science with 7+ years of PSM experience in refining or petrochemical industry.Must serve as the technical expert for PSM with the ability to lead PSM efforts in a multi-functional organization.Must have thorough knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)standard and EPA RMP regulation.
The position must also be knowledgeable in PSM management systems and the leading industry PSM initiatives and best practices.
