PROCESS QUALITY ENGINEER I

Develops processes to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements are met. Ensures these processes are in compliance with company quality assurance standards, applicable government regulations, and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates production layout and material flow process, makes recommendations and implements them as required. Coordinates and releases product revisions into production. Develops and maintains procedures required for the Quality Management System. Troubleshoots problems with production and takes corrective action. May conduct training on processes.Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Assists in determining assignable causes to processes being out-of-control. May implement moderately complex poke-yoke techniques. Provides documentation to support manufacturing.Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Recommends revisions of standards, engineering drawings, and specifications. Works closely with production, quality, test engineering and purchasing in working towards zero defects/zero variation quality levels.May be responsible for planning and conducting a specific project of limited scope, or a portion of a larger, more diverse project. May provide technical support to technicians or production personnel. Work is regularly reviewed by supervisor/senior peers.Education: BS in Engineering or related discipline.Experience: Typically requires 0-3 years of professional experience.In addition, the successful candidate must have strong computer and programming skills. Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills. Be organized and motivated. Experience in Lean Manufacturing processes and Six Sigma are added value.
