Columbia Lighting, a division of Hubbell Lighting and a leading manufacturer of commercial, industrial, and decorative fluorescent lighting products has outstanding full-time career opportunities available for experienced Brake Press, Punch Press, Machine Operators and Die Setters on all shifts.
Brake Press applicants must be able to set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake presses through to first piece inspection. Punch press, stamping press, press brake, die setter, or change over experience preferred. Applicants without brake press experience, but who have proven mechanical skills such as the ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges may be considered for training.
Punch Press applicants must be able to set up and operate automated feeding equipment and sheet metal fabricating presses through to first piece inspection. Punch press, stamping press, brake press, die setter, or change over experience preferred. Applicants without press experience, but who have proven mechanical skills such as the ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges may be considered for training. Responsibilities include setting up presses ranging in size from 20 to 600 tons, feed lines, and coils for progressive and single-hit stamping dies while ensuring a quality part is produced.
