DESCRIPTION:

The project engineer completes projects based on customer requests, including scope definition, conceptual and detailed design and cost estimates, as well as writing and supporting (through verbal communication and presentations) capital requests.

The project engineer is responsible for executing capital projects safely, timely, and cost effectively using good engineering, design and installation practices to ensure reliable/robust equipment/systems.

This includes management of all contractor and plant resources involved with the project as well as schedule coordination with maintenance and operations personnel.

The project engineer is also a technical resource using and involved in documenting best practices, completing WCM based technical analysis and providing expertise in project implementation practices.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering,
Two to ten years experience as a project engineer in an industrial/ chemical manufacturing facility (or five years experience as a project engineer in another related capacity) along with working knowledge of chemical process equipment.

Good leadership and organizational skills to manage and motivate contractor personnel and mechanics.

Good computer skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
