PLASTIC PROCESS ENGINEER/MANAGER

We represent a privately owned $16MM metal and plastic products manufacturer located in Lake Zurich, IL. They intend to double in size in five years. This company has zero debt and has not experienced one year with less than 7% growth. They provide stamped and injection molded fasteners and assemblies to automotive and industrial companies.



The owners are brothers. One brother handles finance and the other handles sales.They treat their employees as family. You may be able to join their family if you are experienced in the following:

· Facilitate engineering support for injection molding.

· Mandates a working and functional knowledge of the plastic injection molding process, tooling, equipment and materials.

· Suggest part design and/or tool modifications to improve part performance and moldability.

· Review, critique and approve mold designs by vendors.

· launches new molds, equipment and manufacturing lines.

· Perform tool and process capability studies.

· Trains molding and set-up personnel.

· Review tooling condition and develop appropriate expense and capital budget.

· Outsource new tools for bid and build.



And possess:

· 5 years of progressive injection molding or Engineering experience.

· Functional applications of statistics is essential

· CAD and Solidworks experience and Six Sigma experience is a plus but not required.
