Position: Senior Network Consultant
Location: Raleigh, NC *must be willing to travel 90% of the time, based out of a home office
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
Compensation Plan: Bonus Plan Available, based on performance and revenue

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with high end network consulting services, Cisco Systems AVVID architecture, Cisco CallManager, IP telephony, IP enabled Call Centers, and Voice over IP (VOIP).
In-depth knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony LAN and WAN configuration.
Experience in implementing, and configuring Win2K operating systems and Exchange 2000
Strong understanding of Internet concepts such as DNS resolution and internet security.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Routing Protocols.
Strong Layer 2 and 3 Routing and Switching experience.
Proven troubleshooting skills.
Requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proactive approach to organization and problem solving.
Customer Response Application scripting is a plus
Experience with traditional PBXs (Avaya, Siemens, Nortel, etc.) a plus
Experience with traditional ACDs and call center architectures a plus, MCSE Windows 2000 certification is a plusCERTIFICATIONS:
Cisco CCIE desired.
A specialization in IP Telephony is preferred with certifications such as Support Specialist (CIPTSS), Design Specialist (CIPTSD), Express Specialist (CIPTES) or Operations Specialist (CIPTOS).
Microsoft MCSE 2000 with Exchange a plus.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preferable candidates will have led CallManager deployments with at least 100 handsets.
This position will be responsible for post-sales implementation of all elements of Cisco IP telephony solutions that includes CallManager clusters, unified messaging with Unity Voicemail, Cisco PSTN voice gateways, Personal Assistant, Conference Connection, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory configuration.
Candidates that have experience with Cisco IPCC Express, IPCC Enterprise/ICM and legacy PBX systems are a bonus.
Also desired are candidates that have experience with MARS, WAFS and MeetingPlace solutions.
Must demonstrate strong customer-service skills with clients and co-workers to help position Forsythe as a valued partner and trusted advisor.
The Senior Technical Consultant must demonstrate strong technical writing skills.
The candidate will be responsible for putting together client documentation, customer training, and working directly with Principal Consultants during the lifecycle of the engagements.
A high level of dedication to personal and professional growth is required.
