SMARTSOURCE a Nationwide Staffing Firm has been asked to present Engineers with pSeries/HACMP experience to one of its Partners, a Nationwide Solution ProviderThis is a 3-Week Project
Location: Indianapolis, INTasks and Activities:
The tasks and activities to be performed by
1. Perform HACMP topology and resource group planning session
2. Install AIX and HACMP on both pSeries systems and apply latest maintenance
3. Configuration of TCP/IP network on pSeries system
4. Configuration of external SAN disk into volume groups, logical volumes and file systems
5. Perform HACMP Topology and Resource Group Configurations
6. Preliminary HACMP testing
7. Configure external storage for high availability
8. Develop scripts to dynamically allocate memory from development and test partitions during
an HACMP take over
9. Assistance with Oracle and Peoplesoft application configuration for HACMP
10. Configuration of Application servers into HACMP
11. Configuration of HACMP resource groups
12. Notification configuration in HACMP
13. Final HACMP testing
14. Configuration DocumentationOut of Scope:
All items not specifically detailed in the Tasks and Activities section above are considered out of scope. Examples of out of scope items include, but are not limited to, the following:
HACMP Cluster Implementation1. Configuration of physical network
2. Power or network cabling
3. Configuration of LUNs on external SAN and SAN zoning
4. Installation of third party applications
Estimates:
The total estimated time to complete this project is 120 hours.
