This position involves serving as a Printed Circuit Designer working in a Revision Support capacity for the Printed Circuit Design support group that falls under Shared Services, Engineering & Technology.



Responsibilities include:

Provide printed circuit design, technical support and revision support for various avionics programs.



Responsibilities include various activities throughout the product life cycle including new design and development, DFM, DFT, product transition to manufacturing, revision support, supplier support, problem solving related to repair or modification and field support for redesign activities due to obsolescent technologies or components.



In this position you will utilize your design and leadership skills in packaging and modifying Circuit Card and Flex Assemblies for advanced Head Down, Head Up, and Helmet Mounted Display Systems. You will also have the responsibility to ensure the technical accuracy of CAD files, drawings and change orders generated by other team members and that the related process methods are followed. Responsibilities include releasing items into the Product Data Management system (PDM). Applicant must have strong technical skills related to PCB layout and manufacturing, PCB and Flex circuit design rules relative to signal integrity, RF, controlled impedance, EMI constraints, PCB material knowledge, dimensioning and drawing standards.



Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees from various disciplines are essential.



Knowledge of the related MIL, ANSI and IPC industry standards, Mentor Graphics Board Station software, Zuken tools, PDM experience and Adobe mark up software would be desirable.

REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in applicable technical field or three years related experience plus five years related experience.
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required.
