PBX Switch Engineer

AT&T-Technical Services Company has a position for a Senior PBX Switch Engineer. The desired candidate must have a thorough understanding of PBX Architecture (AVAYA a plus), to include Power Plant, Provisioning and Translation experience, Admin experience, Hardware and Software Configuration experience, multi-vendor product integration, and working knowledge of MDF/IDF Designs and Installations. Familiarity or experience with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems to include: design, testing and installation standards. Familiarity with installation standards and practices relative to communications security (COMSEC) and information security (INFOSEC).Required Skills:
B.S. Electrical Engineering, B.S. Computer Science or equivalent work experienceDesired Skills:
Six years in switch engineering, installing, and testing communications hardware.
Three years experience in telecommunications engineering including commercial facilities and carrier systems is desired.
Experience with performance modeling and network testing, analysis and management is desired.
