PA10 Lab Infrastrucure Services Engineer

Implements, administers and secures General Dynamics C4 Systems / Viz testing and PA10 lab infrastructure systems, QA and deployed production and staging systems. Provides support to in-house testing and development users.Administers passwords and user privileges with an aim towards streamlining and simplifying administration in the PA10 Lab environment.Installs and configures products in development in the testing labs to ensure a consistent testing and development environment.Establishes and maintains a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, creativity, and teamwork.
Enforces policies and procedures to ensure the protection of PA10 Lab assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by General Dynamics companies.
Assist in the development of resource planning for product development assets.Other duties as assigned.Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.Must be prepared to travel up to 25%.Must be available for on call rotation.Will occasionally be required to work weekends or overtime to minimize user disruption.
Familiarity with Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, LDAP, Active Directory, SMS 2003, Apache, Microsoft Office Applications, Oracle, mySQL, Java, Solaris, hardware break/fix skills, Quality Assurance testing processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to translate technical language to lay audiences.Desire to support and serve internal and external customers.Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance.Applicant must be a US Citizen.
