Outside Sales Engineers

Are you a motivated recent engineering grad interested in getting into Technical Field Sales?

XP Power, leader in power electronics technology and power supply sales, has immediate openings for Outside Sales Engineers. Qualified candidate does not need prior sales experience but should have a BS in Engineering (ideally CE or EE) or other technical discipline, desire to excel, strong work ethic, excellent inter-personal skills, and high energy level.

Specifically targeting networking and data communications OEM customers, you will focus on managing sales activity, evaluating competitive products, resolving customer problems and introducing and promoting new products for new market applications. Individual will also maintain good relationships with established customers while developing new business/customers in order to achieve sales goals.

This position offers competitive salary, plus uncapped six-figure commission potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Activities:
* Seek sales opportunities, generate leads, and apply the sales process to direct sales situations
* Interact with customers to understand the application, research the best product fit, and prepare technical & quotation responses
* Ability to accurately and predictably track sales opportunities though all pipeline stages though closure
* This role will require an independent, self-motivated person committed to managing sales growth
* Use of effective time management to prioritize daily activities
2. Administrative responsibilities:
* Forecast sales volume, activities, budget requirements monthly review of product quantities and establish rolling production requirements
* Database maintenance update on a daily basis
* Maintain account profiles - update as required

QUALIFICATIONS
* Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
* Proven problem solving capabilities and resourcefulness
* Must be able to work independently
* Competitive and energetic
* Must be U.S. Citizen or green card holder

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably EE or CE
* Previous Sales experience a bonus, however will train the right Candidate
